Frequently Asked Questions

What is Stand Up Paddling?

Stand Up Paddling is a rather new and very popular water sport where you basically stand on a large surfboard enabling you to comfortably balance on it and propel yourself with a long paddle.

If I never SUP’d before, is this for me?

Yes. Everyone can do it. One of the reasons why SUP is so popular is that you don't need any previous experience or any special fitness level. It is very easy to learn, no great effort is needed  and that's why is suitable for everyone.

What is the minimum age to go on a tour? I have a 5 years old kid. Can he go with me on the board?

All children from the age of 12 can go on a tour. Younger children on request.

Do I need to take SUP lessons before I reserve any tour?

On all our tours you will get an opening introduction by our tour guides, with the demonstration of all the necessary actions and information for beginners.

What should I bring with me on a particular tour?

Island tours: sunscreen, hat, a bottle of water or other hydrating liquid.

Night tours: wear some light fabric shorts and t-shirt. If you get chilly easily, bring also a light summer jacket or windstopper.

SUP Yoga: Bring only your swimsuit. We highly recommend not applying any sunscreen products or other skin products right before the class because it will make the boards slippery and therefore might make your experience less enjoyable.

Can I just rent a SUP board and when?

Yes, rentals are possible within the working hours of the centres.

Where can I store my belongings?

You can store your personal belongings inside our beach hut that will be either locked during the tour or left under the supervision of a crew member.

Do you provide all necessary equipment?

Yes, we provide all the equipment; boards, paddles, life jackets, leashes and dry bags.
