No previous experience in guiding tours is required because Metta Float is already well known for its Tour Guide Instructor Education which is offered for those who join the Metta Float family.

We are looking for candidates for the following positions:

RESIDENT

• A resident is responsible for renting out SUPs and taking tour reservations.

• Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (morning shift) and 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (evening shift).

• Responsibilities: Renting SUPs, handling tour reservations, providing information to clients, assisting with equipment preparation for evening tours.

EVENING TOUR PREPARATION

• Afternoon shift (3:00 PM - 9:00 PM): Setting up lights on kayaks, setting up the seats, preparing outfits for clients, etc.

• Evening shift (8:00 PM - 2:00 AM): Assisting the clients after the tour, preparing kayaks for the next tour, cleaning the equipment, and putting it back in storage.

KAYAK NIGHT TOUR GUIDES

(Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided)

• Shift lasts 5-6 hours in the late afternoon/evening.

• Responsibilities: Welcoming guests, briefing the clients before the tour, guiding a 2-hour tour, taking care of the clients before, during, and after the tour, and equipment storage.

• Bonus hourly rate for double-night tours.

Requirements

We're Looking For:

• A passion for guiding SUP & KAYAK tours.
• Excellent communication skills and client courtesy.
• Team spirit and readiness to work in shifts.
• Reliability and a responsible work ethic.
• Effective communicator with fluent English and strong interpersonal skills (other languages are a plus).
• You are a sport-oriented person.
• Availability from April 15th to October 1st (flexible for students).
